I don't wish to be pernickerty or in fact to criticise at all, but your use, or rather misuse, of words in the following extract from your post to 'copy blogger' intrigues me.>>>It's not just that their important today, they've been important in the history of evolution. Julian Jaynes in the book
You use 'their' instead of 'they're' and then, a few words later, you correctly use 'they've'.
I am not a pedant,(I hope) I am just curious as to how this sort of thing happens. And does it matter? Everyone knows what you mean but I wonder if it diminishes any authority you might seek to instill with your writing.
I would not expect you to post this on your blog and my comments are meant in not an unfriendly way, I am guenuinely puzzled..
I hope that you will not take offence at my remarks, I assure you that I wish only to learn not to show how clever I am. (Which I am not)
