Empathetic. Open. Diligent. Ambitious.
Pithy.

I love that quote, and I find myself referring to it often, I agree with two of your four additions but (Empathetic & Open) seem to fly in the face of being disinterested and I would say that it is more often then not a good thing to be open, I would use the word accessible in its stead.
