Selling Out

I think this ranks as one of the proudest moments in my life. That’s Hanno, slutting it up as a dog model.

If I do the math correctly, I believe that instantly makes her more popular and more accomplished than Maxie, Murphy or Buckley.

I think the most appropriate thing to do in celebration is mount a larger than life size portrait of the dog in the center of my apartment. Right near the books.

To be honest, the most disturbing part of that picture was the regular TV. Hello, flatscreen?

As I was going through the flickr slide shows I thought to myself how weird it was that they took so many pictures of their pets. Then I realized how weird it was that I was going through the flickr slide shows.

Now I have to find a new alt dog, since Hanno’s gone all mainstream.

She’s actually been on Cobrasnake. I have the photo in my delicious account somewhere.

Not that I would’ve expected less but that’s an impressive library for someone your age. I never can seem to find the time.

I finally finished Anathem. What a book. It finished as great as it started. Even at 900 pages it was still well worth the read.

I am jealous. I need to get my dogs into the “biz now”.

Where did you get that huge picture of Hanno printed? Anywhere online?

Why would I get a flatscreen if I already have a tv that works?

I think I got the picture printed from Shutterfly.

Surely that isn’t all your books. For all the talking you do about how much you read, you must have more, right?

That’s hilarious. You’re really using her name to full effect.

Yeah I have a bunch more scattered all over.

Is that the Twilight series I see…please god no.

Haha I predict you have another bookshelf full plus a dozen in backseat/trunk of cars and a handful at other people’s houses

And this picture isn’t recent so more than that still!

Cobrasnake and now AA? Ryan, you are a fucking hipster publicity machine. In your place I would exploit the situation to have group sex with a different menagerie of plaid-and-leggings clad art school girls every night, but I suppose that’s the reason why I am not in your place.

Dear Alex, I’m sorry people are hounding you about your library and everything else that happens to be in that photo. I think you’re hilarious for getting that picture. P.S. Ryan I think you read a little more than normal. Did you put a magnifying glass up to the computer screen. Alex-that’s funny Ryan-You’re still my favorite blog.

@Vladimir I totally agree, is this what you wanted to do when you were growing up and in college, Ryan?

And I agree with Barry, I expected to see way more books in there. You should show em off!

You have a lot of coloring and pop-up books.

This is much better than anything I ever hoped for in college.
